People look out for car auction when they want to buy used cars in better prices. These kinds of people go for public car auctions where used and reconditioned cars are bided. Government auctions, auctions called out by Police garages, impounding lots and towing services are other places they go looking for cheap price. Cars bought here are not guaranteed. They are not given for test drive and the buyer gets the car in "as-is" condition. They do not even get the buy back warranty. It is like people who do not have much of money are gambling over an automobile. These are kind of people who are driven to car auctions for their need.

Well there’s another group of people that go to auto auctions too but they have different motive than people of above category. These are rich people, very rich people and they go to cars auctions for fun. These auctions are of rare collectibles. People don’t come here to same money rather to spend them more. Expensive cars speak of their standard and status and for that they are ready to spend lots and lots of money. Here they buy and drive cars for glamour.
The public auctions are advertised in small manner. Mostly just as notice in local papers or cable. Where as the rare collectible vehicle auctions are widely promoted. Rich people are sending special invitations. Some of these are even covered as national news in some channels. This is only the tip of differences. The whole iceberg is still under the sea.

People take part in public auto auctions to spend less and try find out the best buy. Other groups go to car auctions to spend more. Their ego drives a lot. When someone is bidding well for one particular vehicle then the other has to raise the bid. Its just their ego showing up and up their goes the price of the vehicle. People looking for cheap buy in public auctions have to take the risk of ending up with some dirty titled car. They have less money and cannot afford to loose anything at all, yet still have the risk of long trouble that might follow the bought car along with the bought car itself. So it is suggested to anybody who is buying cars from public auctions to get detailed information about the car they are planning to buy. They should not only rely on the information provided by the auction house but should move ahead and should run a thorough check on the vehicle’s registration themselves for the piece of mind. Where as other group of people who have more money than place to keep them and don’t even worry about loosing them have a very safe game. They do not have to worry about the history record of the vehicles. If there need any checks, auction house does it and they even apology to the bidder if anything goes wrong. They need not even worry about the condition of the cars they are bidding for.
